This is a place where I can keep all the info from websites that I find interesting. At the moment it has a lean towards sustainability but that's what interests me as well as cool stuff :)

The rocking charger

The Empower chair from Ryan Klinger converts a relaxed sitter's rocking motion into electricity and provides plugs to power laptops and other gadgets.
Nice idea. Could we develop this for public use, say in one of the many green spaces in london? If we had a weather (and vandal) proof casing, and instead of having USB keys provided power back to the grid? or even keep the USB's so you can charge your phone and laptop whilst sittin in the sun!?
